Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials to clean the comb. Use a light coating of pure neem oil or any natural oil to keep the comb moisturized. Avoid dropping the comb or bending it, as this can damage the shape and integrity of the comb. Neem wood combs are naturally anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory, so they do not require frequent sanitizing. You can use a mixture of water and vinegar to clean the comb if you want to avoid using soap. Replace the comb if it becomes damaged or worn.
